The Triangle
Building in the desert
Gagoghs found himself an agreement with Property owners in Carson, NM. He’d be allowed to build on and caretake the property, in exchange to live on the property for the rest of his life. With a limited amount of funds, he had to build a whole house, and decided it would be much cheaper to cut down the typical 4 walls to 3. Utilizing recycled or reclaimed materials, Gagoghs was able to construct a stylish pest free home.
This was the home, where Gagoghs would complete the bulk of his work. Here he completed a total of over 50 pieces within a 9 year period.
Concrete base
The concrete foundation was made using earth pounded tires, rebar and concrete. The concrete was discounted as it was a rejected batch from some other industrial project. Gagoghs’ friend called him up as it was actively setting in the back of the truck. The concrete batch was a super concrete mix, and it set into a beautiful flooring finish.
